How to prove bank locker account

Hello All,

Is their a way to prove a person is holding a Bank Locker account in court.

Background about the case:

This is more related to Family case --> Marriage

One of my close relative (Girl) from Andhra Pradesh got married in 2008. At the time of marriage, girls parents has give a dowry (cash + Gold). After the marriage girl was staying with her husband and husband parents. Girl was workling in Government office. She need to travel 160Km (80+80) everyday to go to work. After coming from the work shen need to keep the home clean, wash clothes and cook food. She was stressed and got dipression. Now she is doing fine. But the girls husband and Husbands parents filed a case for divorce. Girl is also ready to stay without her husband. But the Girl wants all her Dowry (Gold and money) back.

Girls Father-in-law has a IDBI bank locker account and all the glod was kept in the locker.

At the time of hearing from girls Father-in-law side, he has said he does not have any locker account. Now the girl wants to prove that her father-in-law has a locker account and get her gold back.

Any suggestions or advice will really help her.

Thanks!

There is no need to prove that the FIL has got a locker and the gold is kept in it. Even if the existance of a locker is proved doen't prove that the gold is there in it. The FIL can always take it out and keep it elsewhere. Give the detailed list of the ornaments given to the girl including their descriptttion, weight, price and bills of purchase etc along with other evidence that such ornaments were given to the girl and the husband / in laws have not  returned them to the girl.

Thanks for your response Archana Ji

But Unfortunately the bills are with them. Generally what will happen is, for purchase of Glod, both sides of parents will go. And the place and shop is decided by the boys side parents. So after the puchase of the gold, girls mother-in-law has taken all the recipts.

Is their any other alternative to get the Girls gold back?

Thanks!
