Hi,
A person has ticket with jet airways from ahmedabad-delhi, and he also paid for insurance company for travel insurance, to secure his trip.
My question is whether a person can claim to insurance company for sum insured of "TRIP CANCELLATION" by jet airways?

Either you can seek such information from Jet or from concerned Insurance comapny. Just demand for return of such premium through on line site, and they will quote the exact rule.

Actually,travel insurance policy is intended to cover any risk/ mishap during the course of flight/travel.In the instant case, one has to refer to the policy exception to find out whether cancellation of trip due to unavoidable condition is covered therein or not?
