Joint property

1. On 05 May 2022, My son and I had gifted my flat, jointly owned by my wife and I. After death of my wife, Oct 2020, to my daughter through a reliquishment deed.

2. My daughter is facing a divorce. i am actively involved in fighting her case. 

3. Now my daughter wants to make me a joint owner so as obfuscate my son in law out of greed to stake claim on the flat.

Your daughter is absolute owner she has right to dispose it as per her wishes. No one can force her even her husband.

Thanks a lot Shashi Dhara.

However to simplify the concern my daughter is gifting it to me. Once the divorce is settled we will dispose off the property or may be immediately

The property transferred to your daughter by a registered deed shall be her own and absolute property in which nobody can any share in it as a right. 

There's nothing to be concerned about it.
