greetings

In the case of Land Encroachment the law gives power to the person to protect their property by using certain appropriate measures whereas sections 103 and 104 of the IPC even allows a person to kill someone in order to protect the property. Furthermore, the court can grant injunction in such cases which will stop the person from trespassing or encroaching the property and the plaintiff can also claim compensation for the same.

relevant case law- Mrs Jeevaratam Ammal v The Collector

Bodi Reddy v Appu Goundan
