The company can have its leave policy, can enter into negotiated bilateral settlement with employees and draft a leave policy offering superior benefits that provides superior benefits than enactments, statue, standing orders applicable to it...................

You may refer to the:

-- Enactments stated by you in post,

--standing orders of your company,

--THE ANDHRA PRADESH FACTORIES AND ESTABLISHMENTS (NATIONAL, FESTIVAL AND OTHER HOLIDAYS) ACT,1974

National Holidays:........ declared compulsorily and the establishments do not have flexibility in timing them

26th January, 1st May, 15th August, 2nd October and 1st November

Festival Holidays: Though the festival holidays are compulsory the establishment has the flexibility to choose from a list...................................

General Elections

--Maternity Leave

And include other leaves as per leave policy of the establishment that is already in place.

You are also welcome to add on additional leave like Wedding Leave, Paternity Leave, Study leave, Leave on LOP, Leave not due, Sabbatical leave, Bereavement leave, Quarantine Leave, Extra Ordinary Leave, Leave not due, Birthday Leave, Employee Volunteering (for Charitable functions, CSR activities etc) leave etc.

The local HR consultants, Labor Law consultants can advice you.
