Dear Sir,
We had booked a property in 2009, and was committed possession in Aug 2011. The construction got delayed and currently we have got the final letter saying the unit is ready for Fit Out Possession.
In the charges that they have mentioned that we need to pay
Local Body Tax, Labour Welfare Cess, Fire Cess & Water meter Charges, total coming close to 50,000/-
Are these to be paid by us? This was never mentioned in the initial costs.
Also, they have charges 75,000/- towards interest in delayed payment of installments. When they have delayed the project by 3 1/2 yrs, can they charge interest from us?
Possession charges 95,000/-. Shouldn't we get a split of what factors constitute this, as this amt was also not mentioned in the beginning.
