Marriage is not a handicap

Marriage is not a handicap

Konkona Sen Sharma(Indian actress of the film page 3 ,wakeupsid etc.) prepares for her latest movie Mirch, which happens to be her first release after her marriage. She tells us what excited her about this project and how getting married has hardly changed anything.

"Mirch" is your 1st movie after marriage, no breaks like most other actresses?

Firstly, this was shot a year back. But in any case there's no need for a break after marriage, it's not a handicap.

I know it's a bit early to ask, but has your perspective to work and life evolved in any way?

No. I mean I am the same person. I don't think I've acquired any level of maturity after marriage (laughs). You do learn a few things by living with a person over a period of time. But for me it's not very different because I've been living with my husband for the last three years before we got married. May be, after 10 years, I will be able to answer this question better. Our marriage was a very low-key affair and that's the way we both are with our personal lives. We're not one for a big public display of our commitment or anything.
