Mental illness and criminal proceddings(498a and 125 crpc)

My friend Mr .J Dass was falsely implicated with 498A and 125 crpc cases and both the cases are in progress But unfortunately Mr .J Dass lost his job and suffering from Mental illness. based on the above facts I have few queries.

1.what are the legal options(stop criminal proceeding due to his illness/ cancel criminal cases against him) J Dass have right now?

2.when J dass have no job and mentally ill can court still order interim/ maintenance?

3.when J dass have no job and mentally ill his wife can claim from his parental property?

Present mental illness is not material. Trial will go if he was in sound health at the time of alleged offence Loss of job is also not a ground for quashing FIR or avoiding maintenance. Had the things been so easy every accused will become jobless
