Generally pay is not protected in central govt though there r clauses to get it protected but you may have to forgo the pension and pensionery benefits but Pay is protected in PSB/PSUs. All elements except you MSP is taken into account, however in that case you will have to forgo your DA at either place..

Good morning sir,

An ex-service man (PBOR) has joined Govt company after discharge from Armed services as normal condidate at minimum level in the company without any concesion of ex-serviceman. It is also GOVT of india order in that case  the ex-serviceman is entitled for DA at both places in pension and as well as in present place. But some of Bank says they donot have such instructions with them and due to that most of ex-serviceman are not showing that they are employed some where to avoid unnecessary amuguity with bank. please suggest weather thisis  right approach.

@ Krishan Yadav Sir If you have joined any Govt/PSU/PSB and have not opted for Pay Fixation as per Last Pay Drawn in Armed Forces service, as a result were fixed at minimum of Pay of the post re-employed, then there is no ambiguity. Rule is simple and clear, you will get your full pension and Dearness Relief on pension. The ambiguity exists only in case where you opt for Last Pay drawn in Defence services. That too, clear to large extent as far as pension n Dearness Relief on pension is concerned; in such case your Dearness Relief on pension has to be ceased and you will keep getting basic pension. However, to avoid deduction of DR by PDA, many of us don't declare about our re-employment at our PDA banks. Since you have not been fixed at per LPC, you neednt worry, you can inform the PDA. However, you should also submit a Certificate signed by your employers stating that you have not been granted pay as per LPC to the PDA for payment of DR on pension. You can find the format of certificate on PCDA allahabad website or your pension e-book with the name "Certificate to be submitted by re-employed pensioners for payment of dearness relief on pension"
