Hi, we are NRI and our tenant is now not vacating and threatening us to sell the property to him less than the market value but we are not interested to sell as it has a sentimental value. Now he is contacting through many people around us and pressuring us. We didn't have a lease agreement and he came during Covid time and our family friend was taking care but now he is threatening everyone. Not sure how to proceed.

File an eviction suit against him.

You can adopt due process of law to evict him through court of law by following the procedures of law.

Since we are outside the country . How can we initiate a case and get an order from the court ? This is in state of Tamilnadu.
