reimbursement

A person is serving in Bihar Police on very lower rank , on duty he met with an accident , and almost ₹2.50lacs he spent on his operation, please tell me how he can claim that amount.

He can recover the same if he has any medical insurance policy on his name otherwise he should take treatment in government hospital.
