I am working in Jawahar navodaya vidyalaya since 17.01.2004 as TGT. I got appointment as PGT , a higher post in the same organisation on direct recruitment. I had applied to the mentioned post through proper channel. What are the formalities  I ha ve to go through before joining the post of PGT. Whether I will lose my service period or it will be counted ? Which type of resignation I have to submit ?
