Your query is vague and do not attract any reply or proper reply in the absence of facts, please come out with basic details so that some opinion can be given.

Purchasing a property on the basis of general power of attorney itself is invalid in the eyes of law; better get a registered sale deed executed in your name immediately if you donot want to lose your hard earned money invested in the property. In the registered sale deed, you first verify the drat deed, check up the spellings, check boundaries, all other details to its absolute correctness and get it executed by registering it before concerned registrar by paying proper stamp duties and registration charges, that only will benefit you or else you may run a risk, decision is yours.
