Sbi credit card harassing me please help

Dear Sir/Mam,

My Name is Ajay Kumar, My SBI Card No. is 5264689414154096, due to some dispute i had stopped making payments to SBI Card.

after few months i realized that I'll become a defaulter so requested them to clear there outstanding.

I got following message from SBI nodal Desk Regarding outstanding.

Dear Mr.Kumar,

Warm Greetings for the day!
 
We sincerely regret for the inconvenience caused to you on the matter addressed to us.  We are committed to resolve the matter to your satisfaction.
 
We would like to inform you that CIBIL clean up amount of Rs 19792.00 and settlement amount of Rs 11,000.00.We would request you to confirm the payment amount. Post clearance your outstanding dues we would enable to further action.
 
Hence, we wish to reiterate that we are unable to reverse any charges levied to your SBI card account. As on date, your account has an outstanding balance of Rs.19792.00 /- and we would request you to send in the payment for the same at the earliest,
 
We request your co-operation with us in the interim.

I approach them for reinstatement also, they agreed to reinstate my Account as well as CIBIL clean up with amount of Rs. 19792.00/-

I have made the same payment to SBI by Cheque on 15-May-2013, and provided KYC documents to SBI executive for Card Reinstatement.

When I checked my CIBIL Report in Sep-2013 Its showing settlement with SBI Card, even i have paid total outstanding with CIBIL Cleanup and Card Reinstatement Letter (Ref. No. 012143503022) and outstanding clean up letter (ref. no. 0120240050766).

I have made a complaint regarding the status to SBI Nodal Desk again. I got Following Emails from SBI Nodal desk

2. After Requested Time -

We refer to your earlier communications with the bank and take due cognizance on the concerns raised by you. At the outset please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused due to the same.
 
We wish to state that as on date your SBI Card account stands deactivated and there is no outstanding balance on the same. Also with reference to the above-mentioned facts, the current status of the card account has been correctly updated in the CIBIL database.
 
We have taken note of your request regarding card activation and same is under consideration. We will revert you within five days on the status of the same.

3. Requested KYC Documents Again to Reinstate Card Account

4. On 8-Oct Asking for 10 Days for Fresh Card
 
Dear Mr.Kumar,


Warm Greetings for the day!
 
This is with reference to your mail communication regarding the activation of your SBI card account.
 
We wish to inform you that we are in process to track the documents sent to us for the processing of new card account. We will revert you within three days on the status of the same.
 
We have also taken note of your office address and same is in verification process. Kindly note that it takes up to seven days to update new address on the records.
 
Post completion to above stated formalities, if it adheres to the SBI policy, we shall be able to send a new card. We look forward for your kind co-operation in the interim period.

5. Oct-16 2013 Again wrong update in CIBIL from SBI Card.

When I called to SBI Customer Care regarding Reinstatement Status!

An executive Divya told me that we have got your Cibil today that there is not any outstanding on your card and all negative flags has been removed.

Then I ask her regarding My fresh card status after long hold she told me sorry we can't reinstate your card your account has been permanently blocked. We have request for reinstatement but SBI disapproved application.

I ask her reason, she told It's SBI internal policies and just  because your card has closed with settlement.

Also she told me that you can apply for a fresh card after six months.

As per our conversation you told me that we will send you fresh card within 10 days but costumer care update is totally different.

After your requested time period I asked you about status always you ask for more time your customer care department has same updates as per previous there is not any improvements.

I'm totally disappointed with your internal department seniors executive always not fund on floor to respond customers query.

When I checked my CIBIL I found there negative updates from SBI CARD.

Please guys suggest me how to short out above problem.

In the first place you should have consulted when you had raised a dispute and blocked payments.

 

 

Had you taken the dispute to its logical conclusion you could have succeeded to get the waiver of interest, penal charges which are 3.75% per month.

 

RBI has not approved such sky high charges and National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has also not agreed with such sky high charges.

 

The settlement is negative entry and as per internal policy of the company it shall not remove the so called negative flags. It shall also not issue a new card leave apart getting the old card reinstated.

 

As per its internal policy this CC company shall not provide the call log data and call recordings too.

 

You have been included in the Bad Customers/Defaulters list of the company M/s SBI Cards.

Apparently the company had demanded an amount of Rs 11000/ too which you have not paid.

 

Now to remove your name from defaulters list you may approach a lawyer specializing in consumer cases and proceed under expert advice of your lawyer.

 

You may have to agitate in consumer forum that can order to remove all so called negative flags and all adverse entries so that there is no adverse effect on your loan taking ability in future. While you approach consumer forum you should be clearly state what is your complaint and what relief you want.

 

 This CC company has not spared the staff of State bank of India and you should not expect anything from them without proper agitation.
