School cheating

School took donation and got enrolled the child on assurance that montessori will be done at one location and by the time child comes to first standard there will be new school opened (2 year for construction). However school informed at the end of UKG (that's in Aug/Nov 2011) that school can't be started and there was no better option as school didn't agree to take to main school instead provided an option which is too far for child to travel thus indirectly we were forced to takeout our children. Initially principle agreed to refund the donation paid but now he has back tracked on his words. What legal action could parents proceed as school is falling deaf ear for refund of the donation paid. We have all the fees paid in the name of new school that was suppose to be opened.

none of the schools which charges donation give you in writing about it. next no school gives you in writing ackwnoledging that this is scheme of things to come and they plan to open a school here so that the child can continue to attend this school only. this is all verbally done so as to fleece the anxious parents. you can send out a legal notice to the school first and if no response then file a recovery suit for your donation fee.

Thank you very much for guidance. donation and fees were collected in the name of new school which specifies new school location.

then u have much evidence to prove that they have charged u wrong.

u better move to consumer court and charge them with breach of promise and breach of trust cases.

u will get speedy justice and refund of ur money.

also u can claim damage for loss of ur child's career.
