yes, mr.agarwal is right.
as far as i know, you can not send any petitions, counters etc to any court by post. it has to be presented in person.
only exception is that some times some courts accept letters as writ petitions if the matters merit such a treatment.

I stand corrected. I do not know whether it can be quoted as a precedent by other litigants, particularly women.
