Share in fathers property for women

My wife's father has willed that his property be split between his sons and left nothing for my wife. this is not ancestory proporty. does my wife have any legal right to claim the property.

If the property is self-acquired and there is an acceptable will, the rights would be as per his will. You can check if the will is valid and was written under mental saneness etc.

if the property is self acquired by her father and same is registered in the sub registrar office then she cannot claim, otherwise she can claim her share in her fathers property .
