It is noticed in the marriage certificate of my daughter that a spelling error has occurred in the name of the groom. The officer at the passport office has advised me to correct the name of the groom as appearing in his passport so that the the husband's name name can be incorporated tne passport of my daughter. i approached the Registrar from whom I got the Marriage Certificate. He says the spelling correction cannot be done. I have met the Inspector General Registration also. He is of no help. Can anyone tell me what is the procedure.
