Validity of stamp paper

What is the validity period in maharashtra of a Rs.100/- Stamp paper bought in the year 2011. Can it be used to enter into an Agreement of any kind!?

Always valid, depend upon document and stamp duty rule in respective state.

As per  Sec 52 B of Bombay Stamp Act 1958 the validity of the Stamp purchased is for 6 months.

if u have purchased the stamp paper for a specifc purpose, so that wil be mentioned on it, so u cannot use it for any other purpose, as it is more than 6 years u cant use it for any thing.

Please refer SC Judgement AIR 2008 1541 DOJ 19 Feb 2008, wherein section 54 interpreted and held that section 54 speaks about refund within 6 months only, hence stamps papers have no expiry. Please go through and share thought around.
