SIR,
WE WANT TO KNOW THE INFORMATION FROM NAGAR PALIKA PARISHAD THROUGH THE JAN SUCHNA ADHIKARI, RTI ACT -2005, BUT THE APPLICATION WAS NOT ACCEPTED BY THE NAGAR PALIKA PARISHAD .IT RETURN MY SPEED POST .
NOW WHAT SHOUD WE TAKE ANOTHER ACTION TO THE NAGAR PALIKA ?

Dear Raj Kumar,
Send the application once again to the same person by Registered Post A. D. This is for proof that you had sent the application. If they accept you will get the acknowledgement back and then if they fail to provide the information within the period provided in the Act, you can file an appeal as per the appellate procedure provided in the Act. And if they refuse to accept the application, you can file a conplaint before the appeallete authority, as per the Act the Muncipalities are bound to accept and reply to RTI applications.
