Whether we can Invoice our Indian Customer?

Dear all,

We would like to hire an Indian sales manager, who should also help as our local man to follow up on the decisions we make concerning the start up of India Company.

I have some questions in that connection:

1.       Can Indian Comapny (Having head office in Denmark). issue invoice directly to the Indian customers already now, even though there is no factory and mounting area yet. The orders will be processed as follows:

Indian Company will receive the orders from the Indian customers and invoice the Indian customers.

The goods will be purchased (imported) from Denmark or another sister company to a subsupplier in India.

The subsupplier will  shipthe goods to the customer. Indian Company will then send the invoice to the customer.

2.        If this is not possible, then we will still need the sales manager for the follow up of the project local in India, but he will also act as Indian Company sales manager and deal with the contracts for orders from customers. If so we will have to issue invoices from Denmark to the customer in India, and the sales manager for Indian Company will get a commission for doing the local job.

Please let us have your comments to this.

Dear Sumit,

Its better for to  you to appoint a Sales Representative, instead of Sales Manager and then against his Services,  execute a EXCLUSIVE SALES REPRESENTATIVE AGREEMENT.
