For registrartion of WILL, the sub-registrar asked to get certificate from the respective registration offices under whose jurisdiction the properties are located that the land in the survey numbers which are covered in the WILL is not Govt. land and not prohibited for registration. Whether the sub registrar can ask like this? Would the registration offices under whose jurisdiction the land is situated give such a certificate?
