Will there be a problem in issuance of passport?

Sir/ Ma'am,

There is a FIR registered against me u/s 279, 337 of the IPC and my mother is a party to the case as the car was in her name, the case pending before the MACT as well as criminal proceedings. She applied for a passport and has specified all the details relating to the case. Will there be an issue regarding the same in acquiring a passport?

Thank you

Dear Client,

Yes you can face a problem in seeking Passport, as all above MACT crimes are of criminal nature and Non- compoundable, you will not be allowed to go out side country with out special permission from the court.

YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE COURT ORDER FROM COURT IF YOU GET THE COURT ORDER THEN YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT THE SAME AT PASSPORT OFFICE. BUT THE VALIDITY OF YOUR  PASSPORT WILL BE 1 YEAR AS PER THE PASSPORT ACT.

Whether your mother has been arrayed as an accused in the pending criminal case ?, if yes, she may have to divulge the details of the pending criminal case against her in her application for passport.  The other issues will be informed by the passport authorities after that.
