SUBJECT:-

The respondents’ counsel failed to appear on May 7, 2024. The court imposed a Rs. 25,000/- cost: Rs. 5,000/- to Shri Rajesh Nema for expenses and Rs. 20,000/- to the High Court Legal Services Committee. The case is adjourned to May 29, 2024, with warnings of ex parte proceedings for non-cooperation.

COURT’S ANALYSIS:-

Due to the non-cooperation, the court decided to impose a cost of Rs. 25,000/- as a consequence.

ORDER:-

The court specified that Rs. 5,000/- of the imposed cost would be paid to Shri Rajesh Nema for commutation expenses and Rs. 20,000/- would be deposited in the High Court Legal Services Committee. Further, the court ordered that the cost be recovered from the erring official responsible for the non-cooperation.

CONCLUSION:-
