"A famous saying about the LAWYERS"
"THE COURTS ARE THE TEMPLES OF JUSTICE, THE LAWYERS ARE ITS PILLARS. TAKE AWAY THE LAWYERS THE TEMPLES WOULD BE WITHOUT PILLARS AND WILL TUMBLE DOWN."
"Advocates must strive to maintain both law and order. Without law, there can be no order; equally, there can be no law without order."
"Advocacy is a noble profession. In settlement of disputes, in tendering legal advice in the various affairs of life, and in the prosecution of guilty or the defence of the innocent, it has its own code of professional conduct."
The Court is rightly said to be a temple of justice. Come what may, its dignity and honour must be preserved by the Bar Members whatever the fate of their cases.
Advocates must contribute their lion's share in maintaining dignity an hounour to courts in general before they expects a court's conunter-obigations.
Whatever be the adverse circumstances that may crop up during the pendency of a case, an Advocate should not shake off his implicit faith in the integrity and the impartiality of a Court and should never attribute any motive other than the motive of justice and fair play.
Advocates contribute a major role to assist the courts in coming to a correct conclusion by the evidence on record.
If the lawyers have been respected and loved by the litigant world hitherto. It all stands to their credit and proclaims from the house top the great estimation in which they are generally held. If the rule of law is to enjoy the same love and regard of the public as in the past, it calls forth the attention of lawyers to go on adding their contribution of diligence and truthfulness in the profession.
Advocates have rightly been called as the backbone of justice in the Courts of law. It is their fight for the cause they plead in the Courts which stimulates even their worst critics to enthuse admiration for them. If the civilization has advanced and the administration of any country has easy sailing so far, th lawyers no doubt have a big credit on their heads. They have also been found not to centralize their tention only in the fields of law but also in the political and social fields with abounding success and laurels. The deoved lawyers have always been a boon not only for their clients but also for the whole country. Their importance cannot be ever undrmined.
Advocates should carry in mind that they have such glorious traditions behind them left by the past generations of lawyers. They have nothing but top maintain those traditions of love and service to the contry.
The times are changed and they are getting changed everday. But the fundamentals underlying human life remains the same. So is the case with the fundamentals of the profession. The legacy left behind by the past luminaries and the doyens of the profession must be stuck up in our hears.
Advocates play predominant role in bringing one to the door of justice. They by their diligence and selfless efforts strive to see that their client's interest must not be jeopardised by the other's highhandedness.
