These are my personal views on Thane's builder Suraj Parmar's suicide.

The builder -politician -civic officials nexus is so well-intrenched that it is virtually impossible to break the connections between money and political power.

First realtors seek political patronage in lieu of voluntary bribe to regularise unauthorised construction. Also in this case it is cleared that realtor was paying same but according to the realtor when it went beyond his capacity he decided to commit suicide. Also it's not like that realtor was a 100% clear man himself, but his sudden death has led the people think on an old suspicion, - "first egg or hen?" Because it had long been suspected that the TMC initiated the Bribe notion first, but here in this case we have the proof that shows that in fact realtors seek political/ civic officials patronage in lieu of voluntary bribe to regularise unauthorised construction. Dude I might be wrong... but most of the times, such realtors are seen with civic officials, politicians and others to confide in them about an unauthorised construction, then these big cats gets in their panties to fuck them in an every positions.

In my opinion, all of the realtors should stop accepting black investments from politicians, civic officials for the projects if they want to put an end to this fashion.

Today these realtors are crying CORRUPTION but voluntarily pay bribes too easily for favours. Although there are vigilance departments for every government department, realtors often pay voluntarily bribes because it is an easy option.

Basically myself has been a big critique of the way housing market looting people in the built-up and super built-up area calculations. It is a market highly distorted towards the sellers and brokers with customers having no choice but to get looted as everyone wants to buy a house. In addition, if you delay your EMI, you are charged a penalty but the realtors can continue to delay their projects without any penalty. Some may never even complete their projects. All you can do is do a court case against them andloose more money in process.

The quality of the construction is never known. You don’t know whetherthe builder has got all approvals from the concerned authority. You don’t know whether the building is on legalised land? We don’t have a list of brokers in the market who are authorised to serve this market.

And despite all the issues, no one really talks about them. All we get to know is whether share price of some realty form has declined or risen. It is a high time we sort out this mess of area calculations.

We can surely do something about this built-up/super built-up issue. You keep hearing carpet area regulation has been passed (builders to sell on carpet area) but no one complies with it. Even if the builders are charging a built-up we need some standard %. Is it too much to ask for? It will be great if media also takes up this issue with fervour instead of just looking at death issue in public interest.

If 20K people gather to protest to Corruption and harassment why these participants can't swear of not paying a single penny as a bribe, not accepting a black money investments from politicians, civic officials, underworld and doing business honestly according to the rules and regulations?

May God give them a good sense ahead.
