Obtain Caste Certificate: Rajasthan

OBC CERTIFICATE

Eligibility

The certificate is issued to a person who is residing in the State of Rajasthan and belongs to the caste specified in the OBC list, issued by the Government of Rajasthan.

Procedure

The applicant shall submit an application for obtaining the OBC Caste Certificate in the prescribed format attached. The applicant has to apply to the concerned Tehsildar in the prescribed proforma along with the document.

Necessary documents/papers

  • Fully filled application form with a court fee ticket of Rs. 2
  • Two government employees' certificates in the application form
  • An affidavit of Rs. 10.00
  • Attested copy of the Ration Card
  • Report of the concerned Patwari
  • Income certificate
  1. Pay scale of the applicant's mother and father must be less then Rs. 5,500-9,000, if mother and father are both in Government service.
  2. If an applicant's mother or father is in Government service, then the pay scale must be less than Rs. 8000-13500.
  3. If the applicant's mother or father is in private service or having their own business, then the whole annual income must be less than RS. 2,50,000.

Note: The candidate must submit income tax return of the last three years.

SC OR ST CERTIFICATE

Eligibility

The certificate is issued to a person who is residing in the State of Rajasthan and belongs to the caste specified in the SC/ST list, issued by the Government of Rajasthan.

Procedure

The applicant shall submit an application for obtaining the SC/ST Caste Certificate in the prescribed format attached below. The applicant has to apply to the concerned Tehsildar in the prescribed proforma along with the necessary documents.

Necessary documents/papers

  • Fully filled application form with a court fee ticket of Rs. 2
  • Two government employees' certificates
  • An affidavit of Rs.10
  • Attested copy of the Ration Card
  • Report of the concerned Patwari
