My employer is asking me to show my social media accounts stating that they want to ensure that I'm not doing anything.
My accounts have many data. So if they see my account, all data they can get.
Is it legal for an employer to ask employees to show social media profiles for their monitoring and inspection without our permission?
Hi, One of friend is a Tamil Nadu Police (Station Inspector) for 2 and half years (completed probation), He got an offer form a good known IT firm and good salary. The problem with this job is he needs to join immediately. Serving notice period of 3 months is not possible for him. His higher officials are not in good terms with him and are not willing to do him any favour too. Is there a rule or way he could quit without any issues ? And I would also like to know what would happen if he deserted police job and joined IT firm without letting them know. Will he face any issues doing so ? will he caught in background verification of the private firm ? Thanks for your response!

I resigned on 14th Dec 2022 and after that couldnt attend office to serve notice period of 2 months due to ill health . after 4 months , when i am better , i told hR that i want to complete the notice period , hr told that my service is nt required . now company wants to deduct my money for not completing the notice period

Private hospital having upto 15 employees. My query is on two points:
1) Salary not paid by the hospital
2) After 5 years can claim gratuity
I am working in the NBFC located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.Â
I have submitted resignation to the Company. I have 10 leaves balance. So can I get the leave encashment at the time of F & F.
Company says there is no leave encashment facility mentioned in the HR policy.
Please suggest as per law leave encashment is the right of the employee or not OR if it's no leave encashment mentioned in the HR policy then how can the employee will get the same.
Need your guidance in this matter to know any act applicable to the NBFC in the matter of leave encashment.

Respected Learned Expert(s), I had filed an OA before the CAT, Chennai Bench for payment of gratuity. I am appearing as party in person in the OA. While surfing in the net, I come across an order passed by the CAT Principal Bench, New Delhi which is similar to my OA. I am in need of certified copy of the same. As I am in Chennai, it is difficult for me to go all the way to New Delhi for obtaining the copy. Is there any provision to get the copy of the order by post. Abolishment and termination
I am working for an NGO and recently unanticipatedly, management decided to abolish 1 associate manager(ATM-CC) post of 3 equivalent posts. No notice was shared by the management and individual meeting via Zoom was done with no formal mail. One or another vague reason was shared individually.
On requesting to share a notice regarding it, it was shared we will not do that and on saying I will ask this by email marking RM and other ATM-CC, I was denied to Mark CCs. The regional manager had a meeting with me, he shared that work is automated for this post which was totally false, naturally, I objected that other posts have the most automated work than this, so 2 new reasons were built that we are making management leaner, and the fund is being used in a different project as it is growing (Actually we recently started our services of free cost life skills in rural areas earlier it was only for the cities).
There is no commitment to deploy around 30 -35 employees from different cities and states. They are doing individual meetings to send the experienced staff working from 5-6 years to rural and remote areas. No one is happy with the decision made as1 can not be competent enough to do the work as the work profile is totally different, there are some married and pregnant ladies as well. Our request for a collective meeting is also denied we requested several times and only for 1on1 meetings managers were ready.
So is it legally right to do something like this? And can they terminate an employee if one cannot go to the position imposed on the employee?
Please note- It is not that the post is redundant, the work will be distributed to other Associate managers only.
