I am a resident of a society for the last 24 years in Chennai , Tamil nadu and recently upon checking the http://www.tnreginet.net website i was shocked to see that our society failed to file the returns to the registrar of co-operative society for the last 15 years because of which the society is unregistered as on date,
The current president of our society is still quoting the registration number and collecting maintenance as well from we members.
What action can we take against the current committee members as they have kept the entire 58 flats in dark with reference to the registration of the society ?
I have a flat in an apartment in Pune.Apartment association is charging me 50% more of monthly maintenance charges as Non occupancy charges as I have given a flat on rent. The non occupancy charges for co op society is 10% as per society by laws. Now I want to know is there any such guide lines or law for apartment association or apartment is free to charge any amount it feel like.

Dear Sir,
I had booked a flat at Andheri in 2015, with a reputed builder in a prime project comprising of six towers. I booked a 3 BHK flat in the proposed tower for which building work was yet to commence. I made 40% payment for that at that time. Builder issued me allotment letter and payment receipts. Builder has still not commenced the work for the same tower and is blaming market situations and asking me to shift to another tower. I don't want to shift to another tower and instead want my money back. Builder is saying he cannot return the money immediately and asking me to wait for one year or so to get the money back. He will pay in instalments. What should I do to recover the money with interest?
Im from bangalore, The apartment is handed over Association 3 years back, But recently we got a notice to pay the Betterment-charges. The apartment builder is not ready to pay it. So we thought the residents altogether can pay it. But some of the residents also not ready to pay their contribution. Is it possible for some of us to pay the amount(250/- per sqm of our share) corresponds to our Undivided-land-share and avoid penalty on us?
Thank you.
Sir, I am the Secretary of a Co-operative Housing Society at Santacruz. A Builder & Developer, who is developing a plot of land situated next to our Society's plot of land, approached our Society to seek permission for right of way from a part of our Society's property / plot, and also offered to pay some compensation. However, the Society did not give them permission as the compensation amount was very low. Thereafter, the said Developer put up a fencing (metal sheets) at our Society's plot of land and also provided an entrance gate in the said fencing to enable trucks to enter their plot of land and start the construction work. Now the work has started with full force and trucks enter into our Society's plot / property from the said entrance gate provided in the said fencing put up at our Society's plot / property and thereafter pass through our Society's plot / property and finally enter into the Developers' plot which they are developing. Please suggest suitable legal action against the Builders & Developers to ensure that (1) the said fencing put up at our Society's property are removed forthwith, (2) that the trucks are prevented from illegally entering into our Society's property and (3) that the Builders & Developers are refrained from illegally using our Society's property in the manner as stated above.
I jointly bought a flat in Vasai along with my mother in Feb.1999. We had paid the stamp duty but did not register the property, the original (first party documents along with his original agreement are with us. We were issued with a share certificate by the society and also we have been staying in the society since then. Now I want to sell my property and the society declined to give N.O.C. On pretext of not having registration. Also states that we are not the members and harassing us. Please help.
My father was an employee in BSNL Ranchi. He died on 03.03.2014. My mother has already died on 21.05 2002. All my sister's and brothers are married. I am also married. In spite of marriage I was living with my father and was dependent on him. So I have submitted an application for appointment on compassionate ground. But office is wanting a succession certificate from me.I have got all retirement benefits due to nomination made by my father. My question is .... Is there necessary to submit succession certificate to son/daughter of a deceased employee? I am ready to give NOC from all my sister's and brothers.
Deduction of certain amount by co-op credit society
Dear Sir,
I am working in a bank. We have one co-operative credit society. I have joined in the society after two years of my joining and continued for 5 years(till now). Now I would like to resign from the society as I think they are taking a big amount as a subscription. I have paid approx Rs.25000/- till now. I have sent a mail to the society to close my membership and pay my amount back. They are saying that I will get only 9000/- back and the remaining amount will be forfeited.
Can co-operative credit societies have that right to forfeit some amount paid by its members? Don't am I able to get out from that society without any loss?
