SIR, My grandfather purchased Agriculture land and the same was inherited by my father (his only son) after his death. We are two brothers and two sisters from Haryana and are Hindu. My father get Relinquishment Deed/ Release Deed of the land in July 2005 in favour of both the son. Sir, As per SECTION-8 of HSA 1956 ,If the property in question is exclusive property of father and it is not ancestral property as learnt from this site(LAWYERSCLUBINDIA) as stated by R.Ramachandaran Sir, and it cannot given to us by Relinquishment Deed and it can given only through GIFT DEED. But my father has done Relinquishment Deed/Release deed in favour of both the son and the mutation has also recorded in our name in Patwari’s record. Then please suggest me that what is the procedure to get it rectified by my father so that the same can be given to us by legal way through GIFT DEED.

I am 31, stay in Mumbai. I got married to my GF on 27 May 2011. A priest from Arya Samaj came to venue hall and performed solemnized our marriage in presence of all relatives from my side only, but no one came from the girl side only because we didn’t want to disclose the matter to her family or friends also. Everything went done. We have clicked hundred of photographs with guests and priest etc and shoot videos for proof also. Next day I got Marriage Certificate from Arya Samaj Priest on Arya Samaj's letter head with stamp and signature of the same priest on it. DO MY QUERIES ARE: 1) SO DOEST IT MEAN I AM LEGALLY MARRIED TO THIS GIRL? 2) DO I STILL NEED TO REGISTER IT WITH BMC OR COURT? 3) IF I GO TO REGISTER MY MARRIAGE WITH BMC OR REGISTRAR WITH OUR DOCS AND ADDRESS PROOFS ETC, WILL THEY PEOPLE SEND ANY NOTICE TO GIRL'S ADDRESS? 4) IN ANY CASE, WILL GIRL'S PARENTS WILL COME TO KNOW ABOUT THE MARRIAGE WE HAVE DONE? 5) CAN I REGISTER MY MARRIEG IN GUJARAT IF I HAVE PERFORMED MARRIAGE IN MUMBAI? BECAUSE I M FROM GUJARAT, SO MY PASPORT HAVE ADDRSS OF MUMBAI, BUT MY RATION CARD AND BIRTH CERT. HAS ADDRESS OF GUJARAT.. SO CAN I REGISTER THERE? 6) IF HER PARENTS COME TO KNOW ABOUT IT, AND IF THEY RAISE ANY OBJECTION, CAN I LEGALLY PROVE OURSELVES ( ME AND MY WIFE NOW) RIGHT? CAN POLICE OR ANY AUTHORITY CAN PROVE IT IN VALID EVEN AFTER WE ARE MARRIED NOW AND VALID THROUGH ARYA SAMAJ? 7) I HEAD THAT I CAN REGISTER OUR MARRIAGE ONLY THROUGHT MY DOCUMENTS ONLY, AND NON NEED TO SUBMIT HER ADDRESS PROOF ETC... IS IT? 8) I HAD HAVE MARRIAGE AFFIDAVITE WHICH I NOTORISED WITH MINE AND MY WIFE'S SIGNATURE BEFORE MARRIAGE, THAT WE ARE GETTING MARRIED WITHOUT ANY FORCE OR LIKE THAT. SO HOW IT CAN HELP US IN ANY FIGHT WITH LAW OR ANY PROBLEMS? ONE MORE THING... IF I GO TO REGISTER MY MARRIAGE ( WHICH IS ALREADY SOLEMNIZED), HOW MUCH TIME OR DAYS WILL IT TAKE TO ISSUE ME THE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE? WE BOTH ARE FROPM "C" AND "D" WARD, SO WHERE TO GET REGISTRATION FORM AND WHERE TO GO FOR REGITRATIONS AND SIGANTURE WITH MY WIFE AND 3 WITNESS? OR PLEASE SUGGEST ME SOME ADVICE AS AN OPTIONS Really need help… Please DO Waiting Regards

hi , i do have a query here regarding succession certificate . I do have my residence in Lucknow city . My parents have passed away and i have no sibling , thus one and only legal heir of the all property . I want to know the procedure of applying for succession certificate(someone told me that court takes 3% of total cost of house as fees). I have already registered my name in Nagar Nigam for the purpose of house tax(will this only suffice if in future if i want to dispose my house ? ).

hi, marriage of my girl friend got cancelled because i revealed everything about us our relationship to her would be husband just a day before marriage and grooms family took decision to cancel this marriage.My question is family of girl could take any legal step against me???if yes what step they could take against me? It was decided between us that she would take divorce after sometime of her marriage but as the days getting closer to her marriage her attitude totally changed and a day before her marriage she said that she would never come to me.Finally i decided to reveal all facts about us to her would be husband and i did and marriage got cancelled.Yesterday i recieve a call from girls family member that they would take some legal action and police complaint like s*xual harrasment etc against me.Plz advice sir what am i suppose to do now
