  • Sagar says : Please help sir
Dear Sir/Mam, I am raising this issue here that has victimsed me for many years and I want some support, suggestions and guidance through experts through the medium of this web-site. I have scored 48% in graduation(B.Sc.) and nowadays whenever there is a notitication of any competitive exam, they ask for minimim graduation percentage besides score in their exam. I recently appeared for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) Bank Probationary Officer(PO) exam. The notification of IBPS Written test for Bank PO was like this : A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. They also mentioned that "Each participating Public Sector Bank will independently issue a separate recruitment notification, specifying their vacancies and stipulating the eligibility criteria in terms of age, educational qualification, experience (if any), minimum required level of IBPS score in each component test plus Total Weighted Score (if any) etc. " I was not applying for any Bank PO so far because till now each bank was separately taking its recruitment exam and was asking for minimum graduation percentage to appear for their exam, but when from 2011, IBPS started taking exam for 19 PSU banks, I appeared for written exam as there was no percentage requirement there in its notification, and now after clearing written exam, each bank is asking for minimum percentage of graduation to appear for interview. I want legal opinion on this regarding ways to challenge this in a court of law. Actually, its not just IBPS against which I want to challenge, I want to challenge requirement of this percentage in graduation criterion itself by any copetitive exam that ask graduation from any discipling and not any specific discipline. When in the year 2006, Common Admission Test (CAT), first time brought in minimum 50% in graduation criterion, the reason cited was to reduce number of applicants for that exam. Is this reason fair? This criterion has nothing to do with selection of good quality students, but to make their work easier they bring in such criterion. Can they gurantee that any student who has not scored minimum 50% in graduation would surely be not able to clear their written exam? And, if some student is having capability and desire to crach this exam then isn't this injustice to him? I am ready to spend money to challenge this absurd criterion of minimum graduation percentage, just require some intial guidance as how it can be challenged. I will be highly obliged to anyone, who can help me with his/her knowledge to challenge this matter in court of law.

  • V R SHROFF says : will fmt. adv pooja
Dear Arun, Earlier it was shown to me by Shri Shailesh Shah, [indirectly] so credit goes to him, and how I came to know POOJA IS ADVOCATE. The trick is, double click her picture, it opens up her profile and all her activity in last year also. Another method is, search for member name on Expert page, it allows you to read profile, and one knows all the activity of that person. If you read, a fir related query, by anonymous lady/ or gent?? I checked date of query, and found a similar question asked by Minu, and that person, who wanted to hide her face, was opened up, and she wrote a lot against me, as totally exposed. she opened up query, forgetting, that friend need not be in same profession, and with same description as Minu, and i revealed, she was divorcee with child, now compelling young bachelor to marry her, after affairs of 5 years objected by boy’s parents, she disliked, ans wrote so badly, that an aggrieved person HERSELF only can go to that extent, NOT HER FRIEND. You can link queries, it's date and originator, and can investigate reasons for the query, and exactly what he wants. "SAAB, BAL KA KHAL NIKALKE TO HUM ADVOCATE LOG KA KAAM HAI. WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO READ IN BETWEEN THE LINES, Client may not tell their story, we should listen unspoken words, what is in their mind and heart and help them understand and solve their problem better. Hum log sacchai tak ja satka hai, and then only we can guide directly and correctly, and can fire [as in this case to Advocate Pooja] who want to hide facts to experts. I hope it is clear, and will help you. Let us think beyond the Horizon, to help needy, and Fire, who misuse this LCI Platform, and want to fool us, waste our valuable time, for their TIMEPASS. I advise, better send PM for such professional secrets, guidance, instead of disclosing openly to the whole world. Thanks, Adv Shroff 04-01-2012

  • Anuradha Kumari says : How to get money refund
Sir, I booked a flat with a Navi Mumbai Builder 6 months back by paying 20% of flat basic cost...... It was agreed that rest amount will be given after registration and availaing a Housing Loan but after 2 months they sent me letters asking to release more money... but remain elusive as to when the registration will be done.... I confronted on the matter and they replied that they are cancelling my booking/ allotment... but never gave anything to me in WRITING.. also when they kept me saying that they cancelled my booking... they were TOTALLY silent on the 20% amount refund issue... Note: I have many atimes Emailed (on their contact ID) and FAXED my inability to pay the rest 80% money without registration (in response to their letters whenever I got... but they never cared to reply those letters and they say that I am troubling them...) There was no cancellation clause etc. while booking.... What can be best done to get out of this soup.... (akcnowledging their strong arm twisting ways)........
