In case of the death of one of the partners of a partnership firm of 2 partners, how can the legal heirs of the deceased partner claim their rights in the property of the partnership firm if
1.the property is a tenant property(paaghdi)
2.the share of the deceased partner is not transferred

On the death of one of the two partners the partnership comes to an end, if there is no covenant in Memorandum of Articles / Partnership deed (if it has been reduced in writing).

Dear anonymous queriest, is the partnership deed registered or not? even not registered, what are the terms and conditions mentioned in the partnership deed? Generally the one of the legal heir of the deceased is competent to join in the firm or to receive amount if any. consult local CA.
