Dear sirs,
what I saw in the act,
•Establishments employing 20 or more persons and engaged in any of the 180 industries / Classes of Businesses specified.
In the above 180 categories, our case was not mentioned elsewhere.
Actually, in our case, ours is a NGO (Registered Society under AP Societies ACT), running a clinic and shelter for the animals in distress.

Dear Reddy ji, The coverage under the EPF & MP Act 1952 is in two ways- one is statutorily as stated above ie having 20 or more employees and falling under a schdule head. second way is VOLUNTARY Coverage, where any estt. having less than 20 employees or not falling under any schdule head, can see voluntary coverage under the Act under Section 1(4).
For this, estt will have to apply in the prescibed proforma available from the website of EPFO OR FROM NEAREST PF OFFICE.
WITH REGARDS,
Chandok-Retd. Reg. P.F. Commissioner.

Dear Reddy ,
NGO Organisation is not falling in Schedule I So, As per sec 1 sub sec 4 if the employer and the majority of employes in relatinos to any establishment have agreed that the provisions of this act should be made applicable to the establishment, he may, by notification in the official gazette, apply the provisions of this act to that establishment on and from the date of such agreement or from any subsequent date specified in such agreement. Now if the establishment have 10 or more employees than the PF and MP Act, 1952 is applicable.
