Registration of academy

is it necessary/compulsory to register your academy in Rajasthan under any act for the purpose of running IELTS course. Academy is owned by single person ie not in partnership with anyone

There is no formal procedure in India to register a sole proprietorship. to my best know, the Municipal authorities will issue certificate/license under Shop & Establishment Act. You have to get a Pan no. for your proprietoryship at Income Tax authority. You have to get permission from the District Educational Officer
