2 different language signatures of one person in 1 affidavit

Dear Experts, At the time of our society registration, our builder who is also the chief promoter has given a notarised affidavit on 100 rs stamp paper to registrar and also furnished one copy to society during handover process . But, in the affidavit builder as a builder has signed in hindi as usual and as a promoter signed in english. Since the builder and promoter are same person what could be the reason for him to sign in 2 different ways. Does signing a an affidavit by one person in 2 different ways amounts to criminal offence?

Unless he disowns his signature there shall not be any offence.
