420 quashingabsonding

dear sir,

a case registered in 2011. 420 case of 95000 rs.

police have put up the chargesheet in court and declared the person absconding.

the complainant is ready to compromise at any stage. on this grounds can this case be quashed in highcourt or what is the procedure? that person dont want to get arrested so pls advise what should be done.

If the complainant is ready to withdraw on the basis of a settlement - the correct procedure is to file a 482 petition in teh High Court for quashing of the chargesheet and proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of an MoU, the Court may quash the chargesheet and consequently PO orders can also be cancelled.
