I filed a Quash peition for 498a in may 2015 and the Judge is not giving dates, the next date is in Feb 2016. The lawyer says that its hard to get dates. He has also taken 75000 from me for a very Senior Counsel to appear for me in that matter but the date is not coming. I am abroad. Is the lawyer lying? OR is is really true you dont even get dates for years? If lawyer is true, then how can I get dates? Can i ask for different court ?

Dear Aryan,
Its true that courts are giving very long adjournments, but you cannot deny the possibility that your lawyer may not giving you correct information. It is advisable to check yourself the court order by logging in to website of that court and check in " Daily Order" link.
