She may file a 498-A and DV Act case on you. Also a Sec.406 case for misappropriating her Streedhan. Please search for 498-A survivor guide and read it. How can you take your wife back after giving divorce as per Muslim Personal Law.

If you have to take your wife back she has to first marriage with some other guy. After that guy give her divorce you can do re-marriage with her.

Don't worry for 498a as time passes things will become normal.

iam from hyderabad. and i spent just a month with her and went abroad. and i gave just single divorce thinking that atleast now she will leave her mother and come back to me.  before they file any case is there any option where i can solve this issue outside court.

what is the exact process of 498a. i mean a person will be arrested/police torture/ appointing a lawer how much fee?/ how many hearings? how many years? passport will be seized? as i want to go abroad for studies/ how many days to get bail for me and my old father and sister, who doesnt stay with us/ do i need pay bribe to police and why? do i need to pay any maintanence for her, presently i dont have job and abroad i was student.
