Respected forum members,
I was accused under 498a, 506. CS got filed after many months. I got summons to attend court which I did. The judge looked at me and just gave me the next date.
Question: I wasn't given the final report when I appeared infront of the judge. My lawyer told me that police had submitted only one copy to court and my lawyer will get the certified copy of the CS (Final report) in 2-3 days. Is this the normal procedure followed by court ?
I don't understand why i wasn't given a copy of the final report. I am anxious to see what the final report has in it. I have read on forums that PP hands the copy of the CS to the accused (step 5 of the 15 step 498a process).
