498a help

Hi I have applied for divorce and in return my wife filed 498 case on me and 14 other family members and after 3 years of struggle and fight they have agreed to settle the issues and accepted for mutual divorce. my ex wife is ready to sign any document stating withdrawal of 498 case and my divorce case is up for final hearing . I am having problem with bringing all the 14 members at once for 498a case .. What options do I have to get the 498 cancelled ..as my lawyer says even if one of them doesn't come it will be postponed to next hearing Your help is highly helpful to the need and genuine person Thanks Raj

Dear Friends and all great members,

Despite of my lot of posts, people are not understanding that 498A in non-compoundable.

Speedy trial is only the solution. We should not go for any mutual settlement unless 498A is completely disposed off. In my following links I have given lot of sample petitions, clues to fight against it.

Still I am seeing people are asking almost same queries in cyclic way.

Please help me how can I convince victims?

Is there anything wrong in my approach ?

Please read each of my posts carefully in the following links for sample petitions and other necessary clues.

based on agreement with husband and wife you will have to approach the High court for quashing of FIR as the case is non-compoundable.
