is it true? attached Maharashtra times news.

if yes it is very great news for false dowry case sufferes.

if allegation proven false in court then not only in 498A case otherwise in all cases there is a provision in Cr.PC and IPC too

Such provisions do exist in CrPC as well as IPC.

But then what is a false case? Mere acquittal does not mean that the case was false.

I wish someday some mechanism is brought to decide for sure whether the case was false or not.

Exactly shonee sir watched ur interview on a tv channel that day. Shd b sm mech to punish 498 petitioner or else at least arrests shd be banned until proven guilty except dowry death cases....... Females can get males arrested also thru dv act violations..... Then why a 498 then......
