498a-summons

Dear All,

In 2010, 498A and dowry prohibitions sections 3&4 are filed against me, I got Anticipatory bail, but so far summons are not served, but recently we moved to my native place which is different address in the bail paper / bond. However A2(mother)’s address is same in both bail bond and now current address, even A2 also not received summons. But continuously I am monitoring the adjournments in my case through online, recently its status has been changed to summons hearing.

Could you help me to guide on wheat should be my next step?

1)     Can court issue NBW?

2)     How long can I not attend if summons are not served?

3)      If NBW is issued, what is the process to obtain the bail again?

first notify change of address t the court. Let opposite party not blow it out of proportion.

Its depending upon your wife interest (complanent). Samans are issued only after failing of charge sheet

It is the duty of concerned police to notify you abut the case and its trial being commenced in the court on so and so date, however even now you can contact the police personnel attending the court to know the developments and next date of hearing or engage a lawyer who will be able to take care of the case in your absence.
