The laws are applicable to Government employees only and not to elected representatives. Elected representatives are themselves law-makers. How can they be subject to the laws which they make? A law-maker is above the law which he makes.

If a person who married three times cannot stand for election nor become Chief Minister the opposite also should apply. A person who never married must be made Chief Minister as a matter of right.
