About cheque

I gave an unfilled signed cheque to someone for payment reasons. Now I'm unable to make the payment now. Still the cheque is unfilled. Is it possible to recover my cheque back?

You can issue a stop payment  instructions to bank and can also give a complaint to the police about the stolen cheque so that the cheque cannot be misuused by the holder.

Did someone to whom you gave the cheque not file the bouncing case against you?

No sir. Still the cheque is unfilled. And yet not submitted for collection.

Since the cheque is yet to be filled,  you better get into the suggested action immediately instead of wasting your time asking irrelevant questions which will misguide you.

Discuss with the holder of cheque and settle the issue amicably before it is presented for realisation, otherwise the holder shall drag you in avoidable litigation.

What do you mean by "I gave an unfilled signed cheque to someone for payment reasons"?

What is the "payment reason"? Has the so-called payment reason been resolved/settled?
