Accident causing grievous injury

My driver was in an accident some months back, resulting in the fracture of the leg of the other person riding the bike. This happened at the crossroad and was very difficult to judge who's mistake it was. Now he has got a summons to appear in court  regarding the same. If he is at fault what will be the maximum punishment and/or fine? Will insurance pay for the same? Please, need urgent advice. Thanks.

if the driver was not at fault then you may contest the complaint and if you have taken insurance policy, then the insurance company shall be liable to pay the compensation whatever will be awarded by the court. The matter should be referred to the MACT. you need to engage a lawyer to represent your case.
