Accident claim to a widow in case of her remarriage

My friend's husband died in a road accident after a lorry hit him while he was returning way back to home from work. This happened 5 years ago. My friend filed for third party claim and the court passed an order in favor of her asking the Lorry driver's insurance company to pay her 25 Lakhs as compensation. After the court passed this order, the insurance company has challenged that decision and now the matter is still pending and is under discussion.

Meanwhile, recently my friend wants to get re-married as she found a suitable alliance who is ready to accept her with her son.

My question is : Will the quantum of compensation change or can it be nullified if the marital status of my friend changes ? If she plans to remarry will her right to that insurance claim cease since she no longer is a dependent ?
