I have recently purchased a new flat in a housing society. The builder is maintaining the society and we all flat owners are paying maintenance amount to him.
Now we want to create a ad-hoc committee which will consist of few members in our society. This committe will be looking after society's maintenance thing. Can we form an ad-hoc committe like this?
What is the procedure/legality with respect to this?
Another query is regarding a savings account in the name of society. Yet society is not handed over by the builder to us. Can we the flat owners of the society open a savings account in the name of society and collect funds required for maintenance purpose?
