i have my marriage certificate. it says XY(female) is married to AB(male). now i want my name to be as XYB on the passport.

Do a name change through a newspaper announcement and take the copy of that announcement with your marriage certificate to the passport office.
Usually marriage certificate is not necessary for name change in passport.
