Adopting same chief ex. affidavit between decendants

Defendant no.1 evidence is completed in case of a willed property and he is self representing... defendant no 2 wants to adopt same affidavit of df.1 for his chief examination.. Can we make a brief affidavit stating that the same cf. ex. affidavit of df.1 is adopted by df.2 in lieu of his cf. ex.? Or the same facts are fully to be typed and a different cf.Ex. affidavit is to be made in the name of Df.2....  Pl. describe the procedure in this regard...

Thanks for the replies. The same case has 3 defendants including me. I have completed my evidence (chief as well as cross examination). Remaining 2 defendants (sisters) are in far away states. Is there any procedure that evidence (chf & CEx) should be completed one at a time  Or Can I take up the chief examination of both the defendants at the same time with adoption of my affidavit?
