Greetings,
The applicability of ADR in international law while dealing in international disputes increases the binding effect because all forms of ADR give great emphasis to the agreement between the parties. After an agreement is reached between the parties it is highly improbable that the parties will recede from the decision made.
ADR prevents litigation cost and summons to court as well, hence saving time and money. Though, unlike the ruling of the courts, ADR decisions are not highly binding in nature, until the agreement is signed upon.
I hope this answers your query.
Regards
